You just are
I had an experience with a 20-year-old man who asked me to date, testing out what would happen if I said I was a lesbian. He just laughed and didn't take me seriously at all. If I had been a man who had said I was gay, then it would have been different. As a woman, I feel that we are not taken seriously. I am highly sensitive, as I notice quickly if people say one thing, but their bodies say something else. I find it interesting that we women are treated with little or no respect by some men. But then it hits me. Maybe we need to work more on taking our place and owning it.
What happens if you stand pressed within yourself? You don't need to prove anything; you just are.
What happens if you just take your place and just be!
What if that- energetically taking your place is the way to go and let go of the idea of proving, but rather just be you, because you have all the power within you; you can move mountains and stand steady as a tree.
But it requires that you have gone on the journey inward and are proud of who you see in the mirror and that you are authentic.
Can you do it?
I think, thank you for the compliment, man, 20 years, but I know that I am a lesbian and I own it. I always take compliments with me, but I know who I am, and I will shine like the sun for me, and because that deserves me.
Life as different is not easy, and it requires great courage, just like that, and taking one's place. But still, this is so incredibly important!
